This notice covers the public Coach Alan website and early-access enquiries. Protected Coach Alan product systems use separate controls, and private athlete and team data is not stored in the public website’s content system.
What we collect
If you contact us or request early access, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, your personal coaching interests, your consent to a reply and the context in your message.
How we use it
We use those details to respond to your enquiry, understand who is interested in Coach Alan, improve the product, and keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell your personal information.
Website operations and product events
The public website infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to deliver the site securely and reliably. Coach Alan also records restrained first-party events such as a page view, sign-in start or selected plan interest. These events do not include names, email addresses, free-text messages, health data or a persistent user identifier. Product and athlete data
Core training, recovery, competition, team and coaching data belongs in Coach Alan’s separate source-of-truth services. Product-specific privacy information, consent and connected-service controls apply within the protected product. Historical team-originated records may remain in an athlete’s personal history with their original source, ownership and access restrictions. Retiring team management does not delete or reassign those records.
Historical club enquiries
Previous club or team enquiries keep their original purpose and consent. They are not converted into personal-coaching applications or individual marketing consent. New early-access requests are for personal coaching only.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only while it is useful for the conversation, beta planning, or a legal obligation. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Access, correction and account deletion
You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw from early-access contact, or request deletion of an enquiry or product account. Email hello@coachalan.uk from the address connected to your request. We may need to verify identity and explain any record we must retain for legal or security reasons.
